Having looked over with a magnifying glass it seems like a cut, its not round. It could be infected though.

Re: OK a 65 G Slowly but the best i can make it

I can't imagine the value of a thread with almost 500 posts in it, so I won't continue posting to this one. I was asked to comment. Should there be any fish health concern, then you want to post in the appropriate forum here on RS.

However, addressing post 491, I see no signs of Marine Ich.

Looks to be more of an injury. Make sure the foods are proper and monitor the spot. If it gets worse post in the fish health forum for help.

It would be consistant with my observation and i think i know the cause; my MP40 Vortech powerhead are giving one strong waterflow, i've reduced it now to 50% , the had stoped comming to the surface since they had to go through it. Thank for your intervention, and as for the other matter, i get people like my thread

Value is in the eye of the beholder.
I dont check every forum to see whats happening with one persons setup,
so myself and any others following this tank build and its inhabitants wouldve missed the event and solution altogether.
The way i see it an opportunity to learn, is a value.

Well there seem to be concensus that the orange spot on my clown Ding; is an injury, a slash. i think it could be du to the strong waterflow by the vortech powerheads i have so i've reduced the flow a bit. Hope she doesn't get worse.

Re: OK a 65 G Slowly but the best i can make it

Did a bit of work today! i added a few corals. I though i'd share my technique, i'm no better than anybody but its for the newby mostly. And for those who are better don't look lol

My frags ;The pieces on a drying mat

ZOOS

Drying underneath with some air, actually blowing the water away with compressed air. The one you use to clean your keyboard.

My putty( epoxy) and peggs

I'll try them out everywhere before making my decision and then cut the peg to lenght and use epoxy to stabilise it permanently .

Re: OK a 65 G Slowly but the best i can make it

The newest member of the cast, named Bull, a bullet goby , i wanted a diamond goby but i'm told this one is a good sand sifter too and an even better addition.
Omnivore so it helps with algae as well, so thats what i want ; a worker with an attitude. Bull

Dante couldn't resist a cam shot with Bull
