Nice. Good luck with it. I got mine for $20 but I don't mind growing it.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

My old orange clown. He like anemones but the first time I had to make him get near it.
My maroons adore anemones.
And my blk clown took up hosting in a open brain... which he killed by being to rough of a lover.
Some clowns need a jump start on the hosting but usually pick it up and then become territorial over them towards other fish.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

Totally true Mya. In addition they become agressive towards the hands of a fishkeeper! It does not hurt. Its just really startling!!!

Nice looking clowns. The LFS I work at has a pair of Cinnamon Clowns and they are evil! They can draw blood.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

I need everybody's opinion. Which coral should I enter in the photo contest this month? It has to be a LPS. I shouldn't have a problem.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

The clowns are doing great. I have a new batch that is hatching as I type. I have close to 200 babies now. I set up an old 55 gallon tank tonight, that I have had in storage, for a grow out tank. I bought 2 tank dividers so I will have a 3 section tank. I gave my first hatch to my nephew - he is going to try to raise them together as a group. We saw a thread on another site where a person has been able to keep over 20 clowns in the same tank for the past 2 years. The only catch is that they have to grow up together so they don't fight. Kind of a cool concept. How are the ponies?
