Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

Thanks. My bluespot is my favorite fish I have ever owned. I am curious how the acan will turn out, it is new and is still developing colors.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

SeahorseBT,

Those pics are fantastic, what kind of camera? You might want to try playing with the white balance a little to get rid of the "bluish cast". See if the camera has a manual white balance (preset) mode - and if it does, use a piece of white PVC in the tank, or even white paper held up to the front of the tank to use as a "preset". I'm guessing that the stuff in your tank has some really vivid colors that are getting washed out by the effect of the tank lights on the white balance.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

Ya, the lights have a bluish tint, but the camera always sees them bluer. They are not that far off though.Like the pic above doesn't look like reality.A little more blue in it. I have a canon rebel XS and am still learning to use it, I got it in December. I'll play with it when I get the chance. I have to work tomorrow and then study for finals all of Sunday and take finals all next week. Don't you wish you were back in high school?
