Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

Hey Blake making the rounds today of your worlds. Just love your tanks, If i'm good at sculpting dead rock things; your good with live things lol. Awsome pictures, your cam must be nice too. I guess the old adage is right, does'nt matter if you have a beautiful tank, if you don't have a beautiful camera no body will see it. What kind of cam do you have. Your LSP are stunning by the way, great colors. Inspirers me to do better. I'm about to enter the SPS world without any knowledge of it. Its fritheningly expensive lol. keep in touch.

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

Thanks Basile! My camera is a canon Rebel XS. Goo luck with the SPS, i am going to try a few in the 120 as well. I'll be following your chronicle. Thanks for the kind words about the scape but I am very jealous of your 65 already. I can't wait to see how it turns out!

Re: My 46 gallon LPS Tank

I have some sad news. I lost the sunburst anthia. I came upstairs one day and she was dead. The night before, she was fine and eating. I don't know what happened. Her stomach was always a little bigger, but all my fish are usually over fed, but looking back on it now, maybe it was an internal parasite.

I also got a couple new pieces. A plate coral, a chalice and cynarina.
Here are some pics of the cynarina. It is coloring up more everyday.

I'm sorry for your loss, Blake....you've had it rough lately in that dept. The rough side of reefing, eh?

That's a beautiful cynarina.... really nice variety of colors.
