I did not want to skip the spawn

but I had no where to put them!
I am working on a new 340 gallon growout system (six 40 gal tanks with 100 gal sump) so I will have more room to hatch fry in the 20 gal tanks.

I'll pair those with offspring of my second breeding pair. Okay, I just realized I really need to name my pairs... How about my first and oldest spawning pair will be the 'Picasso breeding pair' and the second spawning pair are 'UNO breeding pair'.

I am thinking about either pairing the two snowcassos in the photo above with offspring of UNO or with a wild caught percula that I already have. We'll see...

Well, I moved the bonded Snowcassos into a breeding tank, put the anemones/corals in my reef tank and now use the tank for a second QT.

I can post pics of the Snowcasso pair if you'd like

They're growing well! A very low percentage (around 9%) have any abnormal barring and none are displaying the 'snowcasso' patterns.

I intend to keep a few of them for future broodstock.

I have almost a dozen Snowcassos that I will keep for my personal collection. Two pairs are bonded and will spawn within the next 6 months I think. A few are in breeder tanks but since I moved the Picasso breeders into a breeding tank of their own, I freed up the 120 reef tank and then added several of my favorite Snowcassos.
