Re: My 29 gallon Anemone & Picasso Clownfish Tank!

I know... I need to add a few more anemones I guess.
This is a just temporary home for the snowcassos until I sell them when they get larger.

Re: My Snowcasso Clownfish Tank!

Title change!!
It has become more of a snowcasso tank than an anemone tank

Re: My Snowcasso Clownfish Tank!

Very nice!

So, this is the tank set up with the parameters: 78.0-78.5, 1.025-6, and zero nitrates, and pH probably between 8.0 - 8.3, as referenced from your Rearing Picasso Clown Fish thread.

Have the fish diversified their hosting or still heavily favoring the red anemone?

Re: My Snowcasso Clownfish Tank!

I've added a small carpet anemone also. Some like the BTA's while other like the carpet.

I have ordered a new MH pendant for this system since the BTA's have faded out some. I don't think the four T5's are enough for them.

Re: My Snowcasso Clownfish Tank!

Have you ever substituted a soft coral as a host organism for the Clowns?

I've had clowns to host in a wide variety of corals (soft & LPS).

Re: My Snowcasso Clownfish Tank!

Here is a video taken today.
The large percula is the female that I will pair up with one of the snowcassos.
Two of the BTA anemones are hiding under/behind the rocks.
