update i ordered two awesome colored zoas and a very cool clam from mr coral sale. one of the zoas in birght green with soem blue and the other has a lot of pink creamy type color with yellow. its hard to describee. hopefully they'll be here tuesday

the order will come in monday-wedensday. can't wait. i'll finally have a clam

order has not come in yet but i did pic up a calcium carbonate hardness and phosphate tests

ca is over 520 i dosed without testing for a week or two (i know i know). to measure mine i have to add so many drops to get it to a certain color. then by how many drops i added was how high my ca is. it took 31 drops. so no more dosing about to test everything else

today is not my day for testing broke a test tube and did the phosphate test wrong lol

written update time. mr.coral has great customer service. they contacted me and told me that the clam i ordered did not look good. so they asked if i wanted a different one. i replied late but i will get it next tuesday. i did a 3g wc due to lack of water. will test and post pictures later on tonight when everything looks better. i also cleaned my glass! i will start my frag tank hopefully next week. i have everything except for water and eggcrate. lighting will be 40w pc brand new. aqua clear 20 and a koralia1. i am going to go to petsmart and try to buy some bags from them

How long have you had the tang? It looks really healthy! If you were going to upgrade I would reccomend a 75 or larger. This will give your tang more room to swim. This is why I like this site more than nano-reef. If someone puts a tang in too small of a tank and posts it here, people suggest a larger tank and leave it alone. On nano-reef, people pound you to death and give you a bad reputation! Thats why I have not gone to nano reef much at all lately. Im sick of seeing people getting flamed because they ASKED if they could do something. Its really immature...Good luck with your tang, and your tank! It looks good!

thanks but the tang aka dory went back a few months ago. what makes me mad is that i had her for like 7 months in my 29g since she was a little tang and then two weeks after i take her to the lfs someone who worked there (i didn't think he knew too much) bought her and she died within in 2 weeks in his tank . i got a gold striped maroon clown but took him back before the move. my sixline died he was like 1.5 yrs old when i got him and i had him for like 2yrs. he was also getting beat up by the clown a little bit. so all thats is in there now is my oldest fish (3.5-4yrs old) mandy the goby (orange striped prawn)the only dude in there. i am going to add like 3 small fish prob 2 cardninals and one other peaceful calm fish. this tank is going on its 3rd year

What is in your very first pic at the top? What coral is that exactly?
I have that coral and was never told the name.

anthellia. it grows like a weed. its all over my tank on the sand on rocks. it sends out like little flying babies then those babies attachy anyway
