| Manta Ray  | Re: My learning experience don't know about the clown lol. i have my mh 10 in off the water. it raises my temps 2-3 degrees. it is my main lighting. its 175w mh not clamp on. its reef optic. i got it from my lfs. they like his kind and quality the best. (its a good lfs)

| Manta Ray | Re: My learning experience anyway ina bout six months i will hopefully have my 55g up and running. i am then going to completly redo this whole system. For lights it will still have the 1x 175w mh 29g dt fedd to seperate refuge and sump 20g display refuge on top with cool macro algaes and mangrove or 2. then drains into the 10g with diy skimmer and return pump. the skimmer will only cost me about 40-50 bucks as i only need to buy a needle wheel pump. it will be recirclulating. i already have an old skimmer body that i picked up for $10 i'll show a pic of it
