Scott's humble 55 gallon

THank goodness Mattie came over to my place with a decent camera that gets the colors a little bit more accurate. Thought I would post a few pictures of my humble little tank.

First, chronological growth/development of my tank and aquascaping:

Purged most of my SPS in Dec. a) because I was running out of space and b) because I had one bleach and thought the VHOs might not be enough. Just starting to regrow them and am having fairly good success.

Equipment:
-440W VHO retrokit from hellolights
-Red Sea Classic Berlin Skimmer modified (mag 5 and kent venturi)
-30 gallon high sump/fuge (temporary)...my next big project, acrylic fuge
-2 maxi 1200s, 1 maxi 900 (middle) on natural wave timer
-mag 5 return

Jks - they certainly have grown a bit although to be honest, not as much as I expected.

Gina - they are just the standard yellow polyps, hydroid like

It looks great Scott ! It looks like your tank is being attacked by the purple coralline monster
