Re: New Horizons

When the wife's away the hubby will play
Bought two polypropylene containers for a water changing and top off station and a sky blue acro colony. Then I went out and bought a new wedding band (lost my old one on the beach a few months ago) new shoes, socks and pants. so now I am good to go without having to iron for a few more days!
I'll post some pictures of the acro once it settles in. I think it was bleaching and is why it's so light a blue but well see. I am a sucker for rescuing corals. Most of the ones you see in my tank were rescues.

Re: New Horizons

LOL Vicki That's how I felt. I don't get the chance to shop much so it felt good!
Thanks Varga. Nah, This is still a trail situation for me. I am still saving up for that tank. When you see me purchase the Envision tank then I'll be headed in that direction. I have a lot to learn still~

Re: New Horizons

Finally I went and bought a new camera! Thank you Heinz and Doni for the help. I ended up with this one Steves Digicams - Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ18 - Hands on Review Now I need to learn how to use it.
Here are a few first time runs I just took. Don't cringe, I need some time to figure this thing out.

I have about 100 to go through still. I'll get some more up later when I get back. Biscuit is giving me a hard time and wants to go for his run

Re: New Horizons

Thanks Dave
Maybe in a few years after the grow some more. I am up to fragging the GSP and the Monti if anyone is interested.
That's the best shot I have ever took of that yellow tailed damsel. I am going to get a few more of him tomorrow. He was food for an angler I use to have but survived and graduated to the reef tank. Brave little soul, fights with the large tangs over the nori

Re: New Horizons

Only Bax, Mark and Dave love me! The rest of you just use me for my brains
Well I won't give up on you all, Here are some nature shots I took today

And the house I am doing the wood flooring in.

The fireplace is cast concrete

When I finish it i'll get some more pictures. This place is pretty impressive. Just about 5000sf in flooring. All rustic grade 5" white oak. Not including the non wood rooms this place is huge. Ok, one more. this is a small bedroom upstairs. I think I am finally getting good jobs in the south

Re: New Horizons

Ahh, love the natural areas around Charleston. Just have to watch out for some of the wildlife.

And tell the truth Frankie, that is really your house and the reason you haven't went to a bigger tank is the house isn't ready yet.

Re: New Horizons

Busted, Not.
If I had the money though it is close to what I would do. The location is perfect. It sits on a peninsula surrounded by marsh land. Other then the flooring the house is also green. That go's a long way with me.
