Yeah, Many websites can not be connected to either. Google, Liveaquaria, and photo bucket to name a few.

I am using all local common names. They are all in the trout family.
I normally practice catch and release. All hooks used are full circle hooks to prevent vital organ damage.

Nice fish Frankie. I will be doing a little of that this weekend on the coast as well. How's the fishing from the Battery, I plan to bring the kids down when it cools off some more and fish from there. And like you we usually catch and release, unless we are catching them well enough to make a meal.

Down here we practice what you may call Catch & Eat, we eat just about anything that doesn't try to eat is first!

Oh yea, Frankie, I' about to spend my house equity on a lake side home, about 2 1/2 hours from where we live now, Toledo Bend Lake. Go look it up!
This will be our getaway camp/house for good fishing & escaping those darn hurricanes!

I take it your on the Louisiana side.
I catch and eat also but am very picky about the rules and regs. I also check to make sure the fish are not gravid.
Tim, I just don't know. I never fished off the Battery. But when you come down give send me a pm and maybe we can hook up. Go to the aquarium or something.

Cleaned the tank today, performed a water change and changed out the zeolites for the first change out. It is one month since I began. All looks great and I will perform all necessary testing tonight after the water has had a chance to properly mix through out the system.
