Rebirth of Cole's 12 gallon nano

recently i have taken down my 12g and move the contents to a 10g for storage while i fixed my mastercube 12g tank and cleaned it...as far as fixing the tank i have peeled the black sticker covering the back , removed the hood, removed the top plastic rim and resealed a poor fix job by the mastercube company. yesterday i built a stand (which turned out ungly since i built it out of scrap wood laying around but its covered with a black bed sheet so no1 knows the difference lol). i placed it in my room in a level spot and filled it earlier today with water and around noon i added some black live sand... here are some pics or it so far...

the pump is going to be replaced as it is a 132gph and i want to increase it to a 200+ gph pump and i will be filling the 4 chambers in the back with; chamber 1: filter floss and small very porous sponge, chamber 2: activated carbon/ammonia remover, chamber 3: live rock rubble, and chamber 4: return pump and possibly heater. if you have any sugestions for the chambers please tell im open to anything.

the light is a 10k 70 watt MH sunpod, im not really liking the 10k so i have ordered a 14k bulb which should be in the mail already but whos knows with shipping now days.

heres a picture of the missing corner of the back glass panel.. mastercube filled it with a black silacone as a quick fix...so i replaced the black with a clear silacone as i cant afford to buy another tank or replace the back glass panel... their silacone worked for over a year until i replaced it and mine should do the same...

i have a 10 gallon up and running with all the corals the were previously in this tank and i want to put them back in when should it be safe to move the corals back? when all my trates and trites are at 0?

will do and i made a dumb newbie mistake today..i went to petco just for some simple filter floss and came back with filter floss and a coral banded shrimp..i know i know dont buy livestock from petco cuz they are full of nasties but im friends with the manager and she says hes been in there for about 3 weeks and i figured if it can live in those tanks for 3 weeks it can live in mine forever...and about a year ago i bought a starving scooter bleeny (i felt bad for it) i nursed it but to health and it just passed about a month ago

i found it bloated and untouched..mystery... anyways now i really got to wait for all my parms to be perfect i dont want to risk anything now that i got a shrimps life in my hands lol

was bored today and moved everything over.... going to be doing a couple water changes this week to keep the trates down and im going to get some more snails possibly as of right now i have 3 hemits, 8 nass snails and a coral banded shrimp and countless bristle worms and mini serpant stars
