Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

I am not sure Al, They didn't tell me, I let my sister pick it out, she bought it for my bday on the 17th of last month. Someone was saying how the polyps went into "rows" helped them to think it was a Stylo, but I am unsure. I know it's doing well

hahah Urchin-ised. That's every single thing in my tank... those guys are amazing in the fact that I swear they touch every square inch of the tank daily.

Re: My 72g build

Thanks Doni! Everything in the tank seems to like the new scaping a lot better! Lots more growth since we've moved the tank!

Holy GSP! Looks great Stace! I don't think your having a huge outbreak of algae but it appears you could use a little more indirect flow. Other then that your tank looks pretty good to me

Re: My 72g build

Thanks Frankie, that pic is a little old... the HA has overcome the tank since then.

More indirect flow? Where else would you say? There is already a LOT of flow, see how far the Xenia is stretching? That's because of the current. The only other powerheads I have are 3 other brand new Koralia 4's (waiting for the 220...got a good deal on them) and putting another in makes a complete sand storm no matter where I put it. I am not saying your wrong at all... just looking for suggestions.

Re: My 72g build

I did not know you had that many pumps in there. From the look of the GSP they seem to be pretty still. I guess it's because were looking at still pictures

Re: My 72g build

I'm sorry, I stated that wrong.

I have three more, sitting in the house...not in the tank.

The GSP's move pretty good, I take ALL pictures with the Koralia off, leaving the return on, so it will show SOME flow, but not like normal.

I am not saying your wrong at all, it probably is a factor of my flow that something needs to change...

Re: My 72g build

Well, I have been wrong many times. That's why I am getting so good at this Still and all I am amazed at the amount of GSP you have. It looks very cool. Reminds me of the anemone tank in Atlantis Aquarium in NY.

Re: My 72g build

I honestly believe that it is a pink pincusion. But, shows very white. I was up at a LFS this weekend, they had it for $25, a medium sized one at that.

The urchin does have a tint of pink to it, you really just can't tell in the pics. If you search back, where he is carrying the snail shells with HA on it, that's what he looks like in the reef daily.
