Outstanding advice from everyone Varg, I feel like there is a superman that saved the day. I too wonder about Iwaki and a possible sales person and not Tech support. I know what I'm talking about Varg because I have to watch myself, I do sales and Tech support and have to make sure that the two do not meld. I want to sell my products, I think they are great, but, If I'm asked a question and have to say no, my product can't do that the salesmen in me wants to die. That is the right thing to do, but most don't care about anything but the bottom line, not your animals, not your floor or your system. Anyway, it's lookin' good Varg.

This is where the pumps are now. I'm sure still not the best place for them but I'm planning on a bigger pump in a few paychecks

almost complete fish room, once its cleaned and emptied of tables of containers, I can take a pic with everything in it

one more light coming today!!!! will just hang next to the existing one

this'll give me 4x250w HQI + 4x96w O3 + 2x 39w O3
decided to go the cheap chinese route since its worked out for me before and I am well above my budget of $0.00

heres the rock work plan.

question.....how tall should the rock pile be? my goal (dream) is to look like one of those fully packed sps tanks like tank of the month on some other forums.

just a guess but id say vary between 1/2 and 2/3 the tanks height?

thats a good footprint.

You need to give your SPS room as they are verticle growers. Tank looks way good, and no drip, drip, drip!

just got the new light.

Still think these fixtures are not as bad as they are made out to be. small electronic ballast maybe 1 Lbs stays very cool and the fixture looks EXACTLY like the Corallife fixture. and @ $220 shipped, how can one resist

good footprint for the aquascape. I would go for 1/3rd of the way up the tank although it would probably look really good to have each rock pile have varied heights or steps so there's more dimension. It would make the tank look deeper too.
