Its soooo hot, I've been too lazy to work on the wall, its like 90 here did a lot of work though, moved the old tank, assembled the stand, killed ourselves bring the thing inside....going to home depot now

wooooow! So nice. I like how quickly you are moving along without jeopardizing the integrity of the project. I get to come on here everyday and see progress!

Oh, and I see your OSHA inspector may have a problem in that bottom picture with your red and white bucket...better get that up to code

265 Gallon Reef built into basement wall. Lighting = 6x250 watts MH, 2x96 watt PC ,and 2x140 watt VHO for a total watt of 1,972 watts . New addition on 4-14-07 of 100 gallon sump and 100 gallon refugium. I think I have lost my mind. Gotta love this hobby Vicki

first bits of plumbing. trying to keep it as simple and upgradeable as possible.
I can't afford a big pump right now but I'm making the drain big enough to handle the new pump once I have it
I dunno if the air intake will work or not (little ball valve in the pic)
I'm thinking no PVC glue on the drain since there's no pressure and salt creep should take care of a few small leaks.

pretty simple. just 4x1" bulkheads pouring into a 2" pvc, 4 T's and a cap with a hole for the air intake. the water just has to travel like a foot into the elevated sump (my old tank)
working on the return lines now
