yup, all thread. Adjusted them several times as it filled up. theres not all that much pressure on them though.

I'll let it sit for everla days while I deal with the wall and move the old tank out of the way

Re: Varga's 300 Gallon In-Wall Build!!!!!!!!!!!!

AWESOME! If I did a build like this I would get in that sucker with scuba gear on and take underwater pictures, then tell all my friends that I went somewhere remote for the weekend and got all these great shots! hahaha.

Galvaized will resist rust for a while, but salt water is ever persistent in it's corrosive quest.

Re: Varga's 300 Gallon In-Wall Build!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stainless all thread like that would be real expensive! Maybe paint it with that epoxy or run the all thread thru some clear flex to protect it from salt spray. Regardless the project came out very well! I'm about to tear out my old wood braces from my sump & replace them with all thread as well!

I think, if you are gonna fix it, you best do it now, Cause I think I see the red head getting red'er by the minute. She will never let you go on that one! Trust me!
