jack what do you think a H series (250 watt )48" Solaris is worth?

I might sell mine to get the rest of the stuff I need for the 210 since the 90 will be taken down once the 210 cycles

Why skim. I never have! I do a small 5Gal Water change weekly, and have never had a nitrate problem Its always at about 20ppm. If your water contains more micro organisms, your coral and filter feeders stay well fed. I don't understand whay anyone would want to feed a tank then remove all the best bits from the water! Naturally weekly water changes of a similar ratio in a tank of your size would be a little more work, but not impossible.

No Brooks, we didn't build the tank at Kee's. We weren't doing business with them when he got that tank. I would love to go visit some of the stores up in MI. Preuss pets would be a cool experience I think. I used to shop at Animal Jungle in VA Beach when I was in the Nav. That place is like a zoo, huge and a really nice aquatic section. Well good luck on your skimmer decision, let me know if you need any more help.

What exactly do you mean rated? The actual tank size they can skim, or the GPH, or how many gallons are actually in the skimmer. Sorry, little humor to go with the other.

I just picked up the snapper today

so I will have a snapper on the return with a Dart on a close loop with 2 vortec pumps.

3 x 250 watt 14k xm's

so far
