| Has been struck by the ban stick | Re: My 20g build Yes, you could be using TOO MUCH snow. try a little less. It could be your water change source too.... bad r/o filters etc etc. I went through a nasty diatom bloom from bad R/O |

| Reef Lobster | Re: My 20g build Thanks Daniel and Al. I know that my source is good to my knowledge. I test it everytime before putting it in, and it's 0's across the board for trates trites and amm. Honestly I have been doing 50% water changes for the last month, I did 3 of them trying to get this crap OUT of there!! Obviously I just need to stop using it. Is there anything else I can use to help feed the corals and inverts that anyone has had GOOD success with? |

| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: My 20g build I make my own and I only feed the corals 1x - 2x a week at the most. I think it's just too easy to over do it with Marine Snow. I'm trying to locate some "Rods Food" which is supposed to be AWESOME for everything in your tank.

| Elegance coral | Re: My 20g build see, a phosban reactor would probably not have done much since thats not the nutrents causing the algae bloom. Btw I have a big phosban reactor sitting there, idk wha to do with it LOL. Good luck with the algae. |

| Reef Addict (hopeless) ![]() | Re: My 20g build Oh yeah it's not hard to find but OVER NIGHT shipping will break the bank. I just got some corals in Over Night and it was $71.10. That's a LOT just for a food order. I'll have to either wait till I have ENOUGH stuff to order or wait and find it IN a store when I am traveling.

| Reef Lobster | Re: My 20g build So, we are off topic here, but that's ok--I can hijack my own thread. Friday I left to head to Michigan, on the way, got stuck in the path of a tornado, I didn't want to pull over so figured if I went faster than it...then I would beat it, haha. Got home Friday around 8pmish to start the shower planning. Saturday woke up and worked on decorating and doing errands until 1630 when my sisters bridal shower was. That was a relief when it finally started!! Afterwards I went out with friends, returned home about 2. Had to wake up Sunday at 530 for my uncle Kennies Memorial golf Tournament that our family threw. It was awesome!! In the raffle and 50/50 combined we raised over 2900!! Some golfers did some memorable things that Kennie would've done if he were here, layed 2 full bags of marshmellows on each hole, Such a jokester! The family members all had shirts made with our fave pic of Kennie on it. On the back we had our "title" mine said niece. From left to right, My dad, my Uncle Lon (looking like he's charging something!), Grandpa, Uncle Gordy, and Uncle Denny ![]() This is a touching photo. Just because of the gap there...that is where Kennie would be, he was always called #2. ![]() My brother Gary--Nope he's NOT amish just lives like them.. He broke his club while out on the course![]() Finally, just a look at the back of our shirts. ![]() |
