I saw that but it's an older 250w version of the Solaris. It also looks like they have it dimmed. Melissa doesn't seem to like it. I'm not sure yet. That will be a lot of force coming out of those two holes so the current created could disturb the sand. In a few weeks, I'll find out and make the appropriate adjustments at that time. Assuming I can SEE.

That's what I've been telling Patti, that the fish and substrate dwellers are going to be moving stuff around anyway, so lets let them move the sand to where they want it.

I like it the way it is, but I also liked how the substrate was layed out in the 120g reef. It doesn't look anything like that now. Heck, the fish even have the glass bottom showing in places now.

So it's been there for a while? I thought it was new because I never noticed it before. That tank is spectacular for being under a 250W LED fixture.

That's what Melissa said, but I'm not convinced that she knows anything at all about it. Don't you think it looks a bit dim? Especially compared to the Solaris' that we have.

It's been a while since I've been over there so maybe they were in the process of going through light acclimation.

I guess it just depends on when/if someone gets their feelings hurt or offended. Once one person is offended then it's game over.

In this day and time we have to work with each other to make sure we aren't stepping on toes regardless if it's play or now. All it takes is one person to be having a bad/off day and take something wrong and it's Game Over. Doesn't matter if you meant to or not... if feelings are hurt it's time to move over and try another topic.
