So the tan came out orange? hmm. Not good. I usually use a color or two outta one of those three-color swatches they put out. And I swear Ralph Lauren has not made a bad color yet.

BTW... Terry I can make it in about 4.5 hours, mapquested it. Am I strapping this baby on my jeep or are you "reconsidering" from the paint fumes?

I'm afraid if you strapped this tank to the top of your jeep, you wouldn't be able to get into your jeep because the roof of the jeep would be even with the gas pedal.

I wish I could remember what Scott said when he walked downstairs and saw this tank.

The tan came out gray. We switched it to a color with more yellow in it. I'll get a pic of it. Patti just put on a 2nd coat on the one wall.

Actually my mandible drop to the floor when I saw the 450! Terry would you send it back when you get a chance!

It is a gigantic! Terry has the mind of Michaelangelo and can visualize his reef in the empty abyss of that glass cage!

I also might add that his whole system, it's more of a network, is phenomenal! Terry you can open up a new public aquarium, call it The Round Hill Aquarium! I guess you don't want a lot of people tramping through your house though. You have a lot of work ahead of you, but it is going to be well worth it when you're done!

Your reef is spectacular with some great specimens and the predator tank is a lot of fun to watch, especially at feeding time!

Let me know when you need help. I like building as much as demolition!

Well, my 100g fuge has developed a leak. I just finished putting bulkheads into a new one and I'm filling it with water to test it. Then I'll need to reconfigure the piping. I'm going to go ahead and eliminate the 35g collection barrel now. I was going to do that when I plumb the 450 into the sump but I need to move the 35 so I can get the fuge tub out of there and put the new one in it's place.

It looks like that is where it's leaking at. Around one of the seams in the bottom. I'll find out when I get it out of it out of there.

Well, the 35 collection barrel has been removed, the water from the 100g fuge has been pumped into two 44g brute cans, I pulled the old tub, slid in the new tub, and filled it back up. I still have to replumb the pipes from the two tanks into this new configuration.

I just had to sit down and rest for a minute first.....

Oh be glad you weren't here today Scott!! Poor Terry has had a rough day - first the paint lady at Lowes did not put the lid back on the gal. paint very tight and the can fell off the cart (12 in. fall) and opened up everywhere - just imagine T not being very happy at all - thank heavens it was still in the store and not in the car! Next the poor guy has been wrestling with the plumbing and that huge refuge "black tank" - He definately deserves a medal for the battles of today!
