Re: Terry's 450g upgrade

hmmm...i'll have to steal some of kim's magic erasers then, she buys them by the boatload since the dogs like to lay against the walls right after they've come from outside

Re: Terry's 450g upgrade

There are two kinds of magic erasers. DO NOT use the ones that have soap or anything like that added to them. I believe it's the Original Magic Eraser that is safe to use.

Re: Terry's 450g upgrade

Terry I have 2 seconds this morning to tell you congrats and it looks great! I had to work Saturday and Sunday because of all these projects we have going now. I was just thinking, where would be a good place to post some of the stuff we are doing? I guess that is if I find the time. Let me know if you have any ideas. I can't wait to see that tank with the goodies in her.

My Solaris in on the truck for DELIVERY!

Mark, I think a great place to post build pics of making tanks would be in the Equipment forum, there is a DIY sub forum. I'd LOVE to see how the tanks are built. Especially the BIG ones! I always imagined sky hooks and cranes all over the place to move stuff around.

Re: Terry's 450g upgrade

WOW is about all I can say........The guys really did shock me when they called me down and viola - it was already up on the stand.....I thought for sure they'd be standing around scratching their heads for atleast an hour while they thought and formulated their "great plan" LOL.....The move went better than I expected and best of all NO one (including the tank) was hurt in the making of this great adventure!

Yes - I am still amazed at being inside that tank and just how big it really is! I could be a real swimming pool for Jessi - she'd love it if only we'd let her!

Maybe she can go in to clean it out occassionally!!!! LOL
I am tired - but just from having my dear in-laws here for the weekend - I never realize how tiring it can be to entertain people - well and esp. if they love to talk - don't get me wrong I love when they visit - it was just a tiring weekend!

Take care all and hopefully the next big hurdle (the hold water test) will go as smoothly as this has!!

Re: Terry's 450g upgrade

She used to be on the swim team in high school. Lets not talk about how recent that was.

The LIGHT is in the HOUSE!!!

This thing is HUGE and HEAVY! It's going to continue to sit in the kitchen until someone gets home to help me carry it down to the basement. It's going to be interesting hanging it. Thats for sure!

Re: Terry's 450g upgrade

Oh yeah, one other thing...

I had hooked up my hammerhead pump temporarily to give me a chance to replace the seal in the barracuda. Since that is the pump I want to use for the closed loop, I needed to get it switched back out with the barracuda....

DONE!

What a PITA that is....
