Victor, I have the utmost respect for law enforcement officers. There is never a reason to be sarcastic, mad or indifferent towards them. They are just doing their job. Casting a little levity on the situation is human nature. You of all people should recognize that! The line between joking and sarcasm is blurry my friend.

We'd find Victor on the side of the road getting the cavity search as we all speed by!

I got pulled over doing 120 in a 55 when I was 18. He got me out of the car (a 1968 Dodge Coronet) and asked why I was going so fast. I told him the truth - I just got the car, I didn't see any other cars around, and I wanted to see what it could do. He said OK, just be careful, and let me go! I think he must have appreciated the honesty...

I'm coming up to Rockville, MD in a couple weeks to visit my dad. Any recommendations of must see/do things up there right now?

someone upstair was looking out for you Mark. i had something similar happen to me driving my grandads 1957 Chevy Pickup (638hp big block 454ci). the cop was more interested in the truck than my speed, i ended up having to show him under the hood & the interior of the truck but it beat getting a ticket or going to jail.

Same thing happened going 135 MPH in the NV desert in my MGB GT Roadster. The HP motorcycle cop couldn't believe my car would go that fast. Had to give him the address of my mechanic in Sacramento so he could get his MG ported and blueprinted. No ticket.

Seriously, the Spy museum is really cool. The new Air and Space museum at Dulles airport is really cool if your into that kind of thing. And of course, any of the Smithsonian's. We always enjoy the Natural History museum. A picnic on the Mall is really enjoyable too. Pick a spot between the Lincoln memorial and Washington Monument, spread out a blanket, and enjoy the scenery.

The Natural History Museum is awesome. Been there a few times. Capital City Brew Pub still open? They got good burgers.

This is interesting...

I didn't think Florida Ricordias dropped babies but I have one that did just that. It had been separating for a week now and it dropped it today. I couldn't find it. Now that the moon lights are on, I see it glowing down on the sand behind the hammer. I'll put it up on the rocks tomorrow, now that I know where it is.

I have two others that look like they're getting ready to do the same thing.
