Yeah right - who am I tryin to kid here! Not gonna happen! I am a strong supporter of my DH and stand "behind" (sometimes far behind) and try to be helpful! He may disagree but I do try. There are times when I just have to close my eyes - but for the most part things are going well! T is now saying "sure after the mess is all done and the leaks are gone and where the H---- was she when I had all this going on".....

Very cool. I am tagging along to see the outcome. Perhaps one day when the kids are gone, the wife will let me have this much fun.

Tim, now is the time to do things like this. You have access to VERY cheap labor.

Seriously, it's a fun family project. Yeah, I do a lot of the hard work myself but the kids are involved too. I think we'll have a lottery to see who gets to be IN the tank when it comes time to aquascape it.

(hmmm, not sure if the winner gets to go in or the loser)

i would say the smallest of the bunch should have to go in, but the tanks big enough for the largest of the bunch, so you may be the one getting wet

I know we'll send Jessi in - after all she is the smallest of the family and hey it would be like a swimming pool for her! She'd LOVE it - well until it had fishes in it! Hey can u teach a 6 yo to scuba dive...hmmmm....maybe we'll need smaller air tanks for her??? LOL

Sometimes I feel like such a fool in this hobby. After reading and contributing my opinion to the "powerhead in the fuge" poll, Scott pointed out the obvious to me about having a powerhead in my fuge.

My fuge is a 100g tub which is about 5 feet long and 3 feet wide. OF COURSE it needs a PH. DUH!!!

My Chaeto has really taken off just in the two days since I put it in there.

AMAZING!!!

Seriously though, Patti has been an incredible help with all of this, and incredibly patient with living through the messes I've created. But it's coming together and it's going to be an awesome setup, once it's up and running. And I couldn't have done it without her.
