| Golden Moray | Re: The 180gal Family Project got the rest of my packages today...time to play! I'm going to give myself a couple weeks to get the params where I want them and get rid of the HA...then the first fish! Well, not exactly first, the clowns are already in the system. I'm going to do a poll to see what fish to get...go vote!

| Golden Moray | Re: The 180gal Family Project Ok...I have a confession to make...I got a fish I know I said I was going to wait until the params were where I wanted them but I was only really talking about calcium and magnesium. Everything else is fine. So...I got a Six Line Wrasse. Her name is Grenadine. I decided to follow Jack's suggestion and take care of some predatory issues before I add more expensive fish. I know I did a good job on the rockwork because she hid as soon as she got in the tank and I couldn't find her until this morning when se came out. Here she is: ![]() I've also been having a problem with HA so I got a Lettuce Nudibranch. It's seriously cool. But I haven't named it yet...what do you guys think?: ![]() I found a good use for HA too...the pods are using it for breeding grounds. It's difficult to see in the picture, but everything white is a pod/pods: ![]() Oh, and for posterity...here is my CUC before I added them...if you want to see what 650 small Nassirus and Dwarf Cerith Snails look like, here you go: ![]()

| Golden Moray | Re: The 180gal Family Project thanks Jack and Heinz. I'm putting the finishing touches on the dual reactor and should get that up and running it should help with the HA. Luckily, there's no new growth and the HA that's on the rocks is slowing going away. We've scraped off the HA that we can reach off the glass and it hasn't grown back yet. I'm hoping that the phosban takes care of the rest of it. I took some random reef shots today. It's really hard to do with a crappy camera, but here they are anyway:

| Reef Lobster | Re: The 180gal Family Project Great Progress Nikki...that's a LOT of snails. It may be corny but I'd name the lettuce nudi...are you ready....Iceburg..but you have to use the "u" to make him seem "cooler" love those shots you posted..doesn't look like you have that crappy a camera. Good job at making the six line feel at home.

| Golden Moray | Re: The 180gal Family Project Thanks Mucci. I'm thinking that Olive may be suitable. All the fish are going t have liquor oriented names. Grenadine is roaming around the tank now zipping in and out of the rocks. She seems very happy. Param report: Ammonia, trites & trates: 0 pH: 8.1 Calcium: 465 Mag: 1350 Alk: 6.9
