| Golden Moray | Re: The 180gal Family Project By the way...WE HAVE PODS!!! I was looking at the tank really close the other night and saw the sand start moving around. At first I thought it was just the CL pump but when I looked closer, it was pods! This morning when I turned the lights on, I saw giants ones scurry back into the rocks. They were breeders...must they almost looked 1/2" long...they were HUGE! I just might have to add a manderin to my stock list...

| Golden Moray | Re: The 180gal Family Project Greg: Yay! Pods! You know you're addicted when you start doing the happy dance because you see pods. Daniel: We have come a loooong way. I've more than tripled my knowledge over the course of this build - which isn't saying much because I still knew practically nothing when I found this site. But I like to build stuff...Tommy builds elevators all day and gets major satisfaction when it's all completed and it runs and I play with pvc. It makes me feel all bad ass when I'm using the portaband to cut stuff. And no, we didn't try the REACTORS with the neighbor. He's 67, but I did see a little twinkle in his eye when he asked if they were bongs.

| Elegance coral | Re: The 180gal Family Project I know exactly how you feel with the pods! My 180 had a lot of Marco and some LR that I received kinda frozen, and for the first two months I didn't see any life other than what I put in it (which is what I wanted anyway). Then I bought some cheato for the fuge, and holy crap 2 months later I am literally overrun with the buggers. Its almost hard to see thru the fuge now because of all of them on the glass. Big ones, little ones, white ones, dark ones, creepy ones, potato bug ones... I've had 2 mandarins for a couple months now and they are fat and happy! |

![]() I just goy my first two shipments of toys. Got my CUC from Reefcleaners. I've never seen so many snails in all my life. Everything smelled fresh and I followed his acclimation instructions and added them into my tanks and fuge. I'm not sure if I have any casualties yet. There were over 600 snails so I'm going to see which ones are in the same place I dropped them in a couple of hours. I also got my complete 2 part solution kit. I want to play so bad but I haven't received my magnesium test kit yet. The UPS shipping tracker says it's in Memphis Guess I'll have to wait. I'm sure it'll be here in a couple of days though.

| Dancing Mandarins | Re: The 180gal Family Project ongrats on the pods!!! And the building of the 'reactor'. I have on my t-shirt, murrayproductions: reef magic on the front. I was in town at the local Walmart and ran into the superintendent of schools. We were talking and then he looked at my shirt. He gave me a 'very' funny look and left shortly after. Hummmmmm......
