Re: My 120g Acrylic Tank Chronicle

Well, I've been so wrapped up in school and other things that I nearly forgot about it.... That is until James called! Now the spark is rekindled, and I feel like a kid in a candy store!!!

Re: My 120g Acrylic Tank Chronicle

No, I never did make any final decisions yet. The next step is going to be getting my custom stand made, and then I will put together the closed loop. That way, it will give me some time so I won't have to make any rash decisions on my sump/skimmer..etc.

It wasn't a comment directed to you Frankie, I know you were the one that turned me on to Envision... It was a general comment to anyone reading this thread, and wondering which way to go on their potential custom build...

Yeah, I can't wait to start plumbing either...

Re: My 120g Acrylic Tank Chronicle

Unfortunately, it won't be getting delivered to my house... I have to make the 15 min. trip to the terminal. Shipping already cost me $450, and I didn't want to pay an extra $100 to get it to the door. I figured I'm not that lazy... I would rather save the cash and take the short hop to the terminal. I will bring my camera though, so I can take pics from start to finish.

Re: My 120g Acrylic Tank Chronicle

I agree with that action! We need to save as much as possible in this hobby.

Re: My 120g Acrylic Tank Chronicle

Take three strong, healthy men with you. You'll need them to help carry it.
