yea, the solaris has been difficult. I don't think it has ever had every single LED lit since I've purchased it. My email from last week also went unanswered. If I didn't love the light so much it would definitely be returnsville.

Great video! I need to start taking more pics of my 120g reef. It would force me to clean the glass more often. I mean, your tank is so bright and spotless! I'm ashamed...

Thank Jo! Ya know, I've been really lucky. I never had an algae outbreak - no cyano, no hair, nuthin. All I've had is minor diatom on the sand, and the cuc has done a great job with that. I am a big proponant of very clean rock to begin with. I think diversity is great, but only if I add it on purpose. I think I have had so few problems because my rock was so clean to begin with. Even my Marco rock has already started to color up nicely w/o any algae growth. Except for the two sick clowns from LiveAquaria, I couldn't have hoped for a better start.

i did notice the color of the rock in your video. its still foggy to me if dry rock filters, would you consider the rock filitering now or do you think it will take some time before its capable of doing this? after watching how Tampa Bay Rock cultivates there's i'm thinking of going with dry.
