Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Heres a pic of the new tang and toadstool just starting to open. The tang is NOT covered in ick, lol. The white spots are either dust on the lens or just particulate in the water. Something must have got stirred up before the shot. Everyone else is camera shy at the moment.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Man I wish the buffer for posting pics were bigger. I lose so much quality having to resize. Do most people use a macro lens when doing closeups? I have a new 8 mp Canon but so far I'm not too happy with it. The macro button doesn't seem to do much, and if I take it out of auto mode it makes me use the flash.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Lookin' good, glad your tests are showing zeros. How big is your tank? (too lazy to go back through the thread).

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Tank is 180. About another 60 gallons between the sump and fuge. The fuge has a DSB and considerable LR as well. I fed pretty heavily last night too. I'll keep testing daily for the next few days.

I upload the pics to photobucket and then post a link to the pic in my post here at RS. That works great!

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

The second to last pic is the duncan coral. He is the only guy that I can't seem to make happy, although he has grown 2 new heads. The last fish is the canary damsel. So far he has been very peaceful!

A lot of people think that, but he is actually a deepwater canary damsel. I was pretty worried about getting a damsel, but I couldn't be happier with this guy. He has not been aggressive at all, eats well, and can be a little shy. He seems to have adjusted perfectly, and I keep my tank at 79 degrees.
