Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Looks good, the Solaris light the tank up well. Nice aquascaping too!

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

I didn't notice the missing pixels. If you can, please post a pic of it. I'm really interested in seeing what it looks like. How is PFO addressing this issue?

I really like the color spectrum of the Solaris. It really brings the color out in everything.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Check the vid again and pause it on the last few frames. If you look at the temp you can kinda see that the bottom half of the 9 and 6 are missing. The whole last line is like that. As I said, no big deal, but you do expect perfection. PFO was closed when I received the lights, so I will call them tomorrow. I'm told the LED's that are out are not difficult to fix.

Sadly, I lost the larger ocellaris this morning. The poor guy just never ate. I'm bummed to lose my first animal, but since he never ate and all the others did, I don't feel too responsible for him.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Robert, my heart is broken for your loss. You pulled out all the stops to get that clown to eat.

As for the missing pixels. Have you tried unplugging the light and plugging it back in? Also, have you tried to go into the settings and enter "Factory Defaults"? This has happened to me also and I have tried both events with success.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

BTW, I didn't notice any LEDs out in the video. They are easy to change though. I had 2 LEDs out in one strip. It's as easy as unscrewing the bad strip and screwing in the new one. Caution! There are very small washers between the screw and the strip . If you are not careful the washers will drop into the fixture and it's a b!t$h to get it out. I exchanged mine over the tank because removing it was too difficult. One of the washers fell into the tank! Luckily, I was able to retrieve it and reuse the washer.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Thanks for the kind words.

Scott, I have tried unplugging, but not the factory reset. I can give that a try now.

BTW, Live Aquaria stepped up to the plate again big time. They are sending me a free replacement AND free shipping, and didn't even need a pic or anything. This company has been so great. They have earned every cent of my business and will continue to get it.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Call PFO on Monday and ask to speak with Carla. She has helped me tremendously in the past.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

Sorry to hear about the clown. It actually looked ok in the video. Strange......

I see what you mean about the LCD display now. I'm sure PFO will take care of it for you though. I just hope it's as easy to replace as LED strips are.

Re: Tufa's tank!!!

First corals, and replacement clown (man is he big!). And, a Rose BTA! C'mon clowns! These have only been in the tank about 7 hours. Everything is coming around nicely except the leather (?). I'm very happy that the BTA crawled around and found a great spot. I hope he stays there, as it is a perfect location!
