btw all i have to say is thankgod my gf is out of town for the weekend otherwise she would b pissed i spent 4 hours on this n no attention to her hehe

i see. yeah im actually thinking those are 10k bulbs. i think it may not be the right spectrum for the fuge. so i was thinking of going with lower kelvin rating. i think a 7k or something in that range. ive noticed that Melev had some good growth with the curly cue bulbs they sell at the Home improvment stores so if i dont see growth in another week or so i may switch, but ill be keeping an eye on yours to see what happens. nice set up.

thanks yeah the second one i have actually has a 6.7k bulb instead of a 10k like in the first one so we will see

finnally it is done!!!!! thank god hehe that was probably the biggest pain every but im really glad it happened i like what ive done with the tank

now itsa time for a water change

ok water change was done and the tank cleared up over night so here is the new FTS

thanks i appreciate it ive put alot of work into this tank especially yesterday when i spent 4hours destroying the rockwork in the morning to grab the diadema outa there and then about 4hours that night after work to redo the rock work

aaight so my gf's dad i have to say is awesome he sold me his smartlite 36" PC fixture for $20

itsa time to mount this to the canopy im not sure yet if im going to retrofit it or not will keep everyone updated

ok so i finnally have my lightning completely under-control untill i can afford some halides hahaha...i just got two new bulbs for my two 55w fixtures that are a 10k/act 50/50 heres the new FTS and i must say it looks a heck of alot better

and yes those are the new frags floating right now

yeah i know this is the last purchase for a while and the earlier threads were all catchup i didn't find out about here for a good 5months of the tank being up and running

Ok here are the new corals..gotta love a lfs that will sell small frags for pretty cheap
first is the blastomussa

then i have the zoanthus

and lastly the caulastra
