really apitasia can actually be colorful? only thing ive ever seen it be is that brownish color

Angry the RESCAPING of my 55g cuz my diadema sux

ok so since i am having some a hard time with this diadema and having to tear everything up im going to start rescaping my tank as well as trying to brush off all of the hair algae in a seperate bucket and will be updating with pics of it today and tmr prolly heres the begining of this horrible adventure

Are you running phosban? I had a cyano outbreak and it completely disappeared three days after I started running phosban in a phosphate reactor. It would make the algae disappear too.

no the only thing i use to remove the phosphate is a fuge but i went 6months with tap water untill i got my ro/di system so i had a bunch of hair algae left over from that

4 hours to catch that damn fish!!! and like 20 minutes worth of brushing hair algae off the rock and then my screw for my overflow snaps so i had to use a metal screw for right now

Hey Tru2nr, i have the same light for my fuge. just wondering if you have noticed any growth from your Chaeto or culpera with it? im thinking of going with a plant light or the corkscrew looking kind because i havent really noticed any growth from my chaeto...

i actually haven't noticed any real growth with it but i have noticed my hair algae is/was starting to die off but i haven't had the fuge for more then a couple of weeks i think it may not be strong enuff i have two of those lights so im thinkn' ima gonna put the second one on there so that way there is like 36w worth of light on it
