oh, i can relate. Kim is starting to come around too, asking which corals and fish we're going to have and what each piece of equipment does.

haha yeah she hasn't gotten into the equipment yet...mainly because she has some knowledge about the stuff...itsa the fish n corals im concerned about because that will allow my tank to become more full i made a comment last night about how i think i need to add some more rock work and i didn't even hear an objection!!!! haha

haha i may be getting a new tank this weekend it would be too good of a deal to pass up that and i keep having a problem with the tank either overflowing or almost over flowing because of the stupid overflow box(yeah i know i could silicone/glue it in place but a bigger RR tank would be awesome so heres my sad update somethin happened and my hammer is now ded.

no idea what happened but the 55g is already sold which is awesome my friends buyn' it for super cheap of course so with the money im getting from the tank ima gonna buy a new lightning system...i may actually go VHO

This chronical is back to being the main one unfortinitally i won't be getting the 75g for reasons not to be disclosed but there will be additions to this tank chronical

im keeping the 55g and some people are donating some peices so i'll be able to drill the tank for an overflow and while im at it im going to paint the back black and i've got a friend who's giving me some black sand so im hoping there will be enough to give me a 6" sandbed so i can have jawfish in the future

well i have a black and white mix right now with the white being more prodominate....so if it works how i think it will it'll be more black with some white spots i have to figure out how im going to drill the tank still...im debating on putting the overflow in the middle of the tank or in one of the corners...and im debating on haulin the tank 20minutes to the LFS to have it drilled for $15 a hole i didn't ask if they guaranteed it or not i probably should have though

that should be a nice sand bed. since you only have a 55g i would use as little space of the overflow as possible. you could run the overflow at the top vertically, maybe 6" deep from the projected water line so you will have more space for scapin.

most likely the LFS doesnt guarantee their drilling, but it should be ok.
