Basser1 29 gallon BioCube Journal

Hello guys and gals! I had posted on the Blue Spot Club about my Blue Spot Jawfish and posted a pic of him. A couple of folks asked to see some pics of my tank and set-up. I've had this BC29 going since Sept. of '06. It has been, and continues to be, a work in progress. It's amazing how your tastes change with time. Originally, everything was pretty much stock. Then I did the usual mods, i.e, widen the chamber between 1 & 2, added a Sapphire Re-Circulating skimmer in chamber 2. The pump has been changed to a Rio 6hf with a Hydor-Flow attachment, the pump is in chamber 3 along with a Stealth 75 watt heater. I also have a Tunze 6025 Nano-Stream. I have a more "open" arrangement for the fish to swim. My corals are a variety of Softies, LPS, and more recently some SPS.

Gorgeous! I can even see our Blue Spot buddy right there in the front!! Those fish seem to love having their picture taken.. although maybe it has something to do with thinking food might be on the way.

So glad you decided to do a chronicle, Basser1... you are an artist, too!

Wow that's nice! Hopefully some day I'll have the knowledge and resources to be able to put something like that together.
