Re: Julie's (BigAl's Gal) 6g NanoCube

Thanks for reading... "things" Are still the same with this tank... just rock, sand and one lowly shrimp... well shrimp in a net that is! It's gooey looking right now. I'll test tomorrow to see "where" it is.

Thanks for reading

Re: Julie's (BigAl's Gal) 6g NanoCube

The "shrimp" has vanished.... I suspect it "Revived" and is crawling around somewhere.

I did a water test tonight and the Ammonia is barely detectable on the scale. I ran OUT of Nitrite Reagent 1/2 way through that test so I can't tell where THAT part of the cycle is. I think I'll drop another shrimpy in the tank to feed the cycle. I'll be picking up a Nitrite Test kit Friday night. More to come . . .

Re: Julie's (BigAl's Gal) 6g NanoCube

Well tonight Julie noticed "motion" in her tank. It's full of PODS running over the sand, across the rock and a TEAM of micro-life swimming around in the water column. I even "witnessed" a series of PODS being shot out of the output from the return pump. I snapped a pic of one up next to the glass just for fun.

Here's the pod showing off

and here's one I've never seen.. pic is BEYOND terrible but I'm posting it ANYWAY! This one looks like a small straight stalk with a singular wire coming out of it. It's somewhat center and totally unable to be seen

And here's the latest FTS (more to come tomorrow night)

Cool!! The pods don't know it yet, but they're going to lose supremacy in the tank....

Cool Al. I tried to get my wife into it this way but it was a no go.
Why don't you put a large green carpet anemone in there?
From the picture on the box their telling you is ok
