| Beautiful Katamari | Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos" When using the deli shrimp to start the cycle it usually takes a couple of days for the shrimp to decompose and introduce ammonia. The cycle probably started right away because most of the sponge will die due to exposure to air. It probably started dying during shipping being wrapped in wet newspaper only.

| Watch this Ma! | Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos" For my tanks, it was usually a few days before the die off started to generate readings on the tests. All LR is different though. It's great that you're getting readings like that already. Hopefully the cycle won't take "forever" for you. ![]()
