Um? This is dated April. Where's those other pics you mentioned? lol

Glad your heat issue wasn't too bad. Sounds like it could have been horrific.

They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Sorry to hear about your heat issue. IF, or more like WHEN, that happens again, just put ice cubes in a zip lock back and float the bag. You have to keep a close eye on the water temp though because it can drop it pretty quick so you don't want to use TOO much ice.

Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos"

The tank was broken down and Turned into a freshwater tank Oh well. All livestock and liverock was moved to my 55 gallon. Although i failed and had a pretty nasty looking tank after my heat/airconditioner issues I will continue in the hobby. Thanks for all the support on my first reef tank!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...currentNO3-((%WC*.01)currentNO3)=finalNO3 (thanks Luukosian)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Sorry to hear Carl, but at the same time, you have a nice 55 going, and a great FW tank I'm sure!

Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos"

Back during the summer my airconditioner went out and raised my house temp to like 100 degrees... My tank suffered. Lots of losses and a big bubble alge/hair alge problem. I fought it all summer but couldnt handle it during with getting married and moving. so i dumped it and added the livestock to my 55 and am cooking the rock for my 55. Sucks but i didnt have room for it at the new house anyways...
