Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos"

Carl, I have the 5600 (very similar to the 5200) and I discovered I get the best pics on the "sports" setting. The sports setting keeps it on a high shutter speed so the pictures don't get blurry and it does pretty well with lower light if I don't zoom in too much.

I can also get pretty good pictures on a tripod with the standard picture setting and no flash, but if the subject moves at all, it comes out blurry, and things tend to move around in the tank a lot...

ive been using full manual on mine and can get some great pics... but for anything on auto and in the dark you have problems.. ive worked around it with a laserpointer and focusing on it.

Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos"

Well saturday i took a 1.5 hour drive with a friend to a candystore up near ATL. We had decided to walk in check out the place, go get lunch, and return for an indepth inspection. well 2 hours after we arrived we finally went to get lunch after picking out a couple corals... after lunch we returned and spent yet another 1.5 hours in the store... the store was like 35'x15' room. Id hate to know how long itd take in a bigger place.... we finally got out corals and left. he got a frogspawn/hammer rock, and i got a torch.

YAYAYAYAY ive got tenticles in my tank... anyways awesome.

ps... the freakishly huge turbo snail i found in my 55 went in the 28 to preserve its life... pretty much every coral i had was removed from the rock. unfortunatly he had to go and hopefully he can survive the cycle in the 55.
how the heck do you keep things glued down in your tanks? some of these corals have fallen before.

Re: "Chronicle Marina del Filón de los Carlos"

Congrats on the new "candy". lol

I've given up on turbos.
I go with smaller snails that can stand on their own.

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.
