| Torch coral | Re: Ricks' Oceanic 14G Biocube - my first salt water tank yeah, think I am due for a good algae scraping though, my glass is looking a little poopy. I have to stay on top of that.

| Torch coral | Re: Ricks' Oceanic 14G Biocube - my first salt water tank Latest water parameters - SG 1.025 Temp 80 Dkh 10 Calc 490 (cant seem to get this lower but it doesnt hurt right?) PH 8.1 N03 - <.10 Phos - 0 Considering trying Purigen or carbon to further reduce Nitrates - seem I can never get them out all together, even after a 50% water change. Picked up 2 heads of Pom Pom Xenia yesterday - pics to follow once they settle in. ![]()

| Torch coral | Re: Ricks' Oceanic 14G Biocube - my first salt water tank No worries Craig, glad you guys are enjoying the thread.... Ya know sometimes you walk innocently into your LFS to get salt mix or some new filter floss and they have just received an amazing NEW selection of specimens. What's a guy to do? They gave me this gorgeous green purple Ricordea Yuma for $20 ! ![]() It was a no brainer...
