| Limpet | Blu's First attempt... Hello all I have been so engrossed in all of your very interesting chronicles I have been inspired to make my own. This is really just a minor one as i am about to deploy and i am not sure i can convince the wife to carry with posting updates. I guess I should start off with a full tank shot of my 65 gallon: ![]() I know it is meager but this whole salt water thing to me is very exciting and scary at same time. I wanted to start small so that if I have losses they will seem much smaller. As you can see I only have a few pieces: My Devil's Palm ( I think that is the name) Leather ![]() ![]() My 2 Zoas: Of which I can not get a good photo. Keep getting bad glare off the over flow. And My Mushrooms (I think) Ones looks kindof saagy.. i hope it is alright... Looks ok today. ![]() I also have 2 Polyops: ![]() [ ![]() And 2 surprises that came with my LR: ![]() And this green stuff I am assuming is alive. It turns kind of white at night. ![]() ![]() I also have 2 yes only 2 measly fish Bang Cards and they are not the lets hang out in the open kind. Best shot I could get so far: ![]() As I said this is really only a trial tank and I guess in the end will pretty much only be the wife's. She picked out most of it so far, and I have a 92 gallon corner that I intend to start sometime in August when I return. Until then i an stuck with this kind of humble start. I also FOWLR 72 bow front I am setting up now. I hope these pics work... The site I used for my Meet and Greet sucked for veiwing. Last edited by Hexabob : 01-08-2008 at 07:36 PM. |

| Golden Moray | Re: Blu's First attempt... Cool... Nice pictures This hobby is always a little intimidating at first... ask questions and go slow is the trick. The search function on this site is great ... it is an easy and quick way to find information. |

| Watch this Ma! | Re: Blu's First attempt... Very nice setup! A 65g isn't exactly small. ![]() I've seen some spectacular 65's. A co-worker has a 65 and I'm very envious of it. It's beautiful! And as my LFS says, "Yes, you'll most likely end up going bigger, but it's usually an additional tank". ![]() Be safe where ever your headed. You're part of the wonderful RS family now. ![]()
