Wow! Just caught up. Didn't even realize I was getting yelled at on this thread. And I still don't have pics. I take crappy pics so I have to get hubby to do it. Maybe this weekend. If not I will post icky ones I take.
Great new corals. I hope it is a blue Xenia. If I remember correctly those are really hard to find. Sorry about all of your light troubles. That would be a royal pain to pack and ship back. Hopefully you have the original packing stuff. I wouldn't have any idea where to get something big enough.

I can't believe the light problems you are having! "Frustrating" isn't a strong enough word for it. There are times I wish I had disposable income and could just say "chuck" it and get another fixture! But when I've got hundreds or (gasp) thousands tied up in something there is no option but to try and get it to work. I truly hope it gets figured out.

im here sort of... dont really care to post in the chronicle anymore... but here is an update....

no fix on the light yet....waiting yet AGAIN for a call back to see what they are going to do.. i talked to them today and he said he would call me back... so i sit and wait yet again...

i got the RO/DI unit finally... just went and got all the stuff i need to hook it up. its a six stage 100gpd unit...over kill for me probably, but whatever.. it was FREE! cant beat it! so water change on 90 today, and hooking up the ro unit... i did get a new specimen!

a good size colony of trumpets that i will eventually take apart.. a bunch of branches were fixed to a huge plug, so i may break it up and strategically place them around the tank... here is a pic of the ro unit... pic of the trumpets later...

my green leather is really at home and fully stretched out,... its about 6-7 inches tall... pretty cool! ok, thats about it...take care everyone...thanks for the input

full colony... a few dead ones...but thats ok.. the alive ones look really healthy.. they are green with like a pink or purple center... cool looking..

Those are fabulous trumpets Sarah. I'm sorry to hear about your lighting issues. It took us 3 months to get all of our lighting so I can sympathize.

HUGE Colony of trumpets! WOW! It's really cool when you get a blow fish and they play the trumpets. It CAN keep you up at night though. They're rather noisy. You also need a tuna to tune the trumpets.

(just trying to get you to LAUGH and enjoy posting to your chronicle again.
