Re: Althea's 90 Gallon.....

thanks! yeah it seemed to clear up alot faster with the power heads going.. although the water is already in the sump and stuff... so i just kept it circulating. i think i ordered way to much sand! ... i think, since i had my rocks already there... it took a lot of space up, so not so much sand was needed! .. i literally have 60 pounds in there.. and i am going to add another 40 pounds to it...and i still have another 60 pounds left over after the 40 pounds is in! LOL... so i will have 70 pounds of sand in the tank with 60 left oiver.. oh wait.. i have to put some in the fuge.. ok, good, at least it wasnt a total waste! ill get a pic in a bit

I bought WAY to much sand too. I'm going to sell it on Craigslist after I'm all setup and have everything the way I want it.

Re: Althea's 90 Gallon.....

Sarah, if you mean Macro Algae and want some Caulerpa prolifera I've got some and you are welcome to it. Be aware it has the potential to go sexual and mess up a tank so research it before you say "yes". If it's thinned regularly it's a good algae and it's pretty and it's nice in the DT as a snack for your herbivor friends! PM your address if you want some...

im also stretched to the limit! HA!!!

about the caulerpa!! i actually just grabbed some for my husbands 90 gallan, he has a sea hare and i have never put caulerpa in there for him... now, will this be ok? or will it be a problem in the DT? i rubber banded a hunk onot a rock and placed the rock on the sand(it was a smallish flat rock.
