The Rebirth of the 100

Ok I decided to start a new thread since I'm reestablishing the 1oo and I'm changing some design features. First I'm building a new stand and canopy, I'll be running an ETSS 600 skimmer, and my lighting now consist of (2) 250 Hamilton 14K. Come February I will add a calcium reactor and a Aqua Controller. But enough bantering here a few pics of the stand and canopy build with more to follow.

I'm using basic 2x4 (pine) and wood decking screws to solidify the frame. The stand stands approximately 36 inches tall and will be wrapped in Wainscot. Pay no attention to the ply in the photo it was for the top.

Canopy progression:

Both the tank and stand will be stained a maple stain to match the cabinets (wife's request). With a clear coat applied to both the outside and inside of the stand and just the outside of the canopy.

A couple bangi cardinals, (2) true percs or onyx percs, green clown goby, fire fish, raimsford goby, mandarin, chaetodon baronessa or xanthurus, give or take a few.

No front door on the canopy. All feeding will be done through the hood. I did this to keep the lines clean and prevent stray light from escaping like it did on my last design.

Like the thread title... I have this vision of the sun rising on the ocean, with a 100 gallon tank rising out of it, reef complete, with angels or fransciscan friars going "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"
