Re: The Rebirth of the 100

Man, how close are the fan and light to the surface of the fuge water? The fan looks especially precarious!

Re: The Rebirth of the 100

The fan sits 5inches and the light is 4. The fan is mounted with screws to the stand (no risk of falling in), and the light is attached using clips under the stand that are not visible.

Re: The Rebirth of the 100

Ok just got my sure grip magnet holders in and they are great

Packaged very nicely

Mounts for several different brands of pumps

Installed

And a shot inside the tank (excuse the glare). I wish I had more pics of the assembly but I was in a hurry to take my daughter out to celebrate an award she got at school so this is all until I get the second holder.

Re: The Rebirth of the 100

P.S. please make sure to mount the pump right side up on the holder as mine slipped off and created a beautiful and majestic sandstorm in the tank.

Future plans: I'm saving up for the AC II from Neptune as well as for a lifereef calcium reactor.

Re: The Rebirth of the 100

I posted this in the general discussions forum but figured it should go in my journal as well:

Blue Acro sp? Please help tp ID

Purple Gorgonian. Please forgive the glare.

These were purchased yesterday 3/29 at Vividaquariums in Woodlandhills, CA. They will probably be my last coral additions for awhile as I want to focus on fish.
