You could always make it a seahorse tank, then you wouldn't need to upgrade the lighting. That would be perfect for 2 horses.

0.220" acrylic. See home depot ( its not sold online ). 1x 24x48", 2x 18x24. plus cover witch would make 3x. The glue ( weld 16 or whatever ). 6' 2x4 8' 2x2 and a sheet o plywood.
There will also be vertical 2x4s inside in each corner.

Oh, and by the way all dimensions / scales are estimated. I did not take the time for proper proportions. And I will set a sheet on top for alam clock, remote, drinks, flash light etc. The 0.220x18x21" over 15x18" will hold that fine, right? And I'll need a top brace, right? What if I just use triangles at the corners ( made from the 3x18" scrap )?

Small Aquarium Lighting: Mini Compact Bulbs
Found my light. They sell lamp rebuild kits at local hardware stores, just build a wooden box. I can use scrap plywood from the stand.

lol. Noise like that dose help me sleep, but only when its not real. I can sleep in light rooms, not noisy ones. White nosie is best generated in my head.
This, I know will happen, I'll jump the gun and have a awesome nightstand for 2 months. I've been looking at cichlids, not found many.
