Yeah, it's going to be a lot of fun for sure! The initial startup cost is a bit more then other controllers, but there really isn't a limit to the capabilities that can be added to it. How useful would it be to glance at the screen and see the flow rate through a chiller or a fuge or a ....

I have a LOT of water flowing through pipes inside the walls and ceilings so I'm VERY interested in keeping track of all of that water.

I received a nice shipment of corals from VividAquariums today. I'll post some pictures tomorrow when the lights are on. They included a really interesting coral for free, that I'm not sure what it is but it's really cool!

Here are my new additions from VividAquariums. Very nice pieces! I don't think they are in their final mounting spot yet though...

And the FREEBIE that I've figured out is a pulsing xenia. Excellent piece!

I really like Vivid Aquariums. Their pieces are a little on the small side, imo, but they've always come healthy and mounted securely. I had an $80 credit with them that I just HAD to use, don'tcha know.

It's slowly filling in.

The RBTA had just eaten a silverside so it is only about half the size that I've seen him. That one is HUGE! How can you tell when they are ready to split? Do I just wake up one morning and I have two?

Pretty much. Sometimes you can tell they are thinking about it but sometimes it takes a while until they actually split. Sometimes you wake up in the morning and there are 2 or even 3.

I've read about others xenia just melting away. I went to pick up our daughter and when I got back, about 1/2 hour later, it was completely melted away. Unbelievable!!!

Way bummer dude. They are self limiters if no food is present in the water column.
