When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Yeah Victor. It's the only way I could think of to add some color to this tank. These guys would eat anything live that went in that tank.

Re: Terry's 120g money pit

I'm really curious too, Heinz. It was tagged as a Miniatus when I bought it from Vivid Aquariums. To tell the truth, I didn't even know about the Louti Cherry until recently. I saw a picture of one and it really got me to wondering.

I guess it doesn't really matter. They are both VERY similar in size and everything and they really do look very similar. It would just be nice to know which one it is.

This is very fast explained Craig. The Cephalopholis miniata or Coral Cod can be recognised by its pattern of bright blue spots on an orange-red background. These spots are smaller than the size of the pupil, and cover the head, body and median fins. Juvenile Coral Cod are orange to yellow. Terry’s new Fish in the picture is a splendour copy of it, all signs are 100% to see.

Variola albimarginata or Louti Cherry Grouper can be recognised by its distinctive colouration. It has yellow wavy lines and bluish to purple spots on the body. The head is orange with reddish spots. The head on Terry’s fish is red and the spots are blue. The median fins on the Louti Cherry have red to purple spots. The median fins on Terry’s fish have blue spots. The central caudal fin rays on the Louti Cherry have white tips that form a line along the fin margin. In Terry's fish I can discover nothing of it, he has no white points ore lines. The points are blue like in the whole body. Nothing of it applies to Terrys fish in my opinion. He should be glad, the Louti cherry Grouper becomes very big. Full-grown species can also reach in the aquarium approx. 60 cm/23” .

Hi Terry,

this is a Louti Cherry Grouper, it's totaly different to your (miniata) new fish.

Terry... are you ready with that "Controller"? T-20 minutes till the shoot out!

Surely you can compensate for the "Swells" with your programming ability

Re: Terry's 120g money pit

I believe you Heinz, and I'm also hoping BIG time that you are truly correct. 23"???????

And Groupers are MASSIVE so if it's 10" long, it's also 8" thick. These guys new home will be a tank of the same dimensions as the 450 except only 8 feet long. So 96x24x36 = 360g. That should be plenty of room for these few fish to grow into their full size and live a happy life eating me out of house and home.

lol Al!

The swells aren't even a consideration because once the rocket is off, the guidance computer takes over and controls it's flight.
