Re: Bwlr's 92 Corner Tank

Way awesome Scott!! Nice pics and the gorgonia is beautiful. Is it difficult to keep? What did you do to bring it back from the dead? And yeah, I'm jealous of the new additions. I haven't added anything for months now, I'm starting to have withdrawal symptoms...

Re: Bwlr's 92 Corner Tank

Just got caught up, the tank is looking great!

What do you use to keep the curved front glass clean? I have a very hard time with it.

Drew

Re: Bwlr's 92 Corner Tank

Not to sure Greg... It was a larger piece, most of it had tissue falling off... I tried to make several frags, and that's the only one that survived. It's on a small rock on the substrate, it has good flow on it... I read in a book that this type is photosynthetic, so that's good.

Drew... keeping the front glass clean... I use a chunk of Miracle Eraser. I tried a MagFloat... that didn't work out too well. I buy the original eraser, it doesn't have any soap in it, and cut it into strips. I use a strip til it gets tough to clean the algae, then throw it away and cut a new strip.

Well, what ever you did worked! That guy looks very happy. Probably the light I guess, plus getting the dead and dying tissue off helped. I had abysmal luck keeping a gorgonian but my tank was very young at the time. I may try again in the future.
