Re: DrHank's 155 Gallon Bowfront

Plumb them together into one sump, if possible. Then you are taking care of both tanks at the same time when you do things like testing, water changes, top offs, etc...

Re: DrHank's 155 Gallon Bowfront

No, I don't think so. I'm going to move the 155Bow where the 210 is after I sell the 210. I'll make a custom stand and canopy for it first then move the tank. I'll finish my 65 and get it in the office, then sell my 110XT, 40, and 29. I just got to the point where I've got too many set ups. I'm keeping the ones I like the most and that will fit in the spaces that I have for them.

Glad you can keep track of whose on first. lol

Sounds like you've got some work to do. Look forward to the bowfront stand build thread. Curving and bending. Maybe some steaming?

When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and now it is time to move on.

Re: DrHank's 155 Gallon Bowfront

Had to add another photo of my rics. I can't believe how big they are.

The Flame Angel is about 2 1/2" and there is one of the rics that's bigger than he is.

Great looking rics, they are so big they look like hairy mushrooms! You need a Blue Spot jawfish peering out from underneath them!

Re: DrHank's 155 Gallon Bowfront

You're right Scott. I think that they extend so much due to the lighting. They seem to love the PC actinics. I'm not sure that a Blue spot jawfish is in my future.

Thanks Jack, he is a beauty and I'm really happy with him.

This bowfront was originally intended to be a FOWLR but now I'm torn between which tank (the 210 or 155) to use for the reef. I decided to keep the 210 because my wife still wants a large angel and a picaso trigger. Decisions, decisions. Sometimes it's hard to make a choice.

Re: DrHank's 155 Gallon Bowfront

MY RIC's ARE IMPOSTER'S!After getting Scott's post I started to think maybe he was right. I looked and looked and looked some more. Then it dawned on me. Who would know better than my pal flricordia. I sent him a PM and he confirmed Scott's impression that they were mushrooms. Needless to say I was devastated (well maybe not)!

Anyway, I guess I wound up with a really neat bunch of imposter's. Just felt that I had to set the record straight. So look at what a really neat bunch of mushrooms I've got and I even get to use one of our new smiles too.

Ric disguise!!! They are cool nonetheless, Doc. Glad you decided to keep the 210, I really like it. Nothin' like a bunch of tanks in the house!

Re: DrHank's 155 Gallon Bowfront

Very hairy booze. Yes Kathy, I wouldn't feel right if I didn't have at least a half dozen tanks here at the house. Speaking of which, you're developing quite a collection too!
