Re: My 110 gal Adventure

I finally got the refugium set up this weekend. Octoman was nice enough to offer to send me some extra Chaeto he was triming back, so a Big Thanks to him for that. I went to the LFS to get some sand, some LR rubble and a bottle of pods. Well after waiting around for awhile to get help to get some LR I just bought the sand and left. The place was like a zoo and they were out of pods anyway. So I decided I'd try another on of the LFS not too far from that one and I struck out there too. So I'll still need to go sometime during the week to pick up a few things.

Re: My 110 gal Adventure

Ok so I moved the firefish from QT to the display last Saturday and I picked up a new fish last night along with some tiggerpods for the fuge and a frag of yellow polps too.
Heres the only pic of the new fish as lights were out and it hid right after acclimation & a FTS . Its a Yellow Coris Wrasse. I'll try and get a better pic tonight.

Re: My 110 gal Adventure

OK so its been a while since I posted any update, so hear goes. I finished Quarantine on the Wrasse yesterday and put in the DT last night. With some research, I've come to find out that my Wrasse isn't a Yellow Coris but rather a Yellow & Purple Wrasse. I suspected it was a different one since I got it home and noticed the lower half of it wasn't as bright as the rest of the body. Now after some time its kinda a light purple almost white and after stumbling on this type for sale last week on DRs F&S I confirmed thats what it is. I forgot my camera at home so I hope to have a few pics up in the next few days. I've also got some frags coming tommorrow from Walter, so I'll have some pics of those too.

Re: My 110 gal Adventure

]Heres a couple pics of some of the new additions from the last few weeks. I didn't really have a clear pic of the new wrasse in the QT, so here he is being added to the DT. Next is a pic of a frag aI got along with the Wrasse is got the Yellow polps and 3-4 green/red button polps on the end of the rock. And finally some goodies I got from Marine Depot on Tuesday, to be installed this weekend hopefully.
