This weekend is Memorial weekend and if I make some money I'll hopefully be getting the new tank. Then probabaly after the next weekend be able to get the skimmer.....Jak should I get the skimmer first so that I have it when I set up the new tank or does it really matter???

You know I'm gonna overthink all of this LMAO.....(I can't help it I'm OCD I'm assuming lol)

Agreed, you'll want to have everything together equipment wise when you set it up so you can break it all in and get it dialed in!

Good work. As Craig & Jack both said.. Plan ahead and look back on it. The more stuff you buy ahead of time the easier and better the end product will be.

I hope you have a GREAT (profitable) weekend. I'm counting the weeks till we head down that way. I think it's exactly a MONTH now!

Nitrate (NO3) reduction is directly proportional to percentage of Water Change.
Allen's home-made formula...(-NO3=WC%)
This means if you change 50% of your total water volume (That's EVERYTHING) you'll get a net reduction of (NO3) somewhere around 50%.

Ask me about how to increase your REEF budget without going without FOOD!!

Thank you Lynn...

YAY one more month....AL...you guys are gonna have so much fun. Pier Park is finally open and they've got it set up like the Destin's outlet mall. It's great they have over 100 shops and restaurants.....You HAVE to go to the Beer Garden (it's a german bar) and Margaritaville.

I'm sure the "Girls" will do some shopping but I'm planning to "Hit the Links" and lay on the beach a LOT! I'll let the girls know about "Pier Park" and maybe hide all their money before hand *S*

Beer Garden? We have one here but it's spelled funny.. something like "Bier Garden" .... really cook play. Margarittaville is a GIVEN! Gonna have to go there! I can't wait to get some good FRESH seafood! Oh yeah... we're hitting "Hunch Punch" place (Mamas or something like that) for old time's sake. Where else?

Re: Ashley and Ben's 55gal Gift.

Club la Vela....It's the largest night club in america. Spinnaker is way better. It's right next door to la Vela. I looked at their website to see if any good bands we're coming the weekend your coming but nothing's really gonna be happening that weekend. If you come the week b4 Uglistick is playing at spinnaker (that's my favorite band that plays at spinnaker and they come every 2 months or so) BTW every bar, club ect...stays open until 4am. The only bar that I know of that closes b4 then is newby's 2 and they close at 2am but the newby's you went to says open till 4 and everything else stays open till 4.
